Minister of State at the Department of Finance, Sean Fleming TD today (Wednesday 27 April) launched Ireland’s first Women in Finance Charter at Euronext Dublin.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, TD, today (Wednesday) met his counterpart, US Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) headquarters in Washington DC, for a wide-ranging discussion.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 1,236 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Monday 25 April, 1,601* people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal. As of 8am today, 477 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 33 are in ICU.

The Minister for Overseas Development Aid and the Diaspora, Colm Brophy, T.D., today announced the award of €2 million to four Irish based International NGOs in support of their work on the ground in Ukraine, Poland and Moldova responding to the needs of those affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
