Friday 6th December 2013: Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, will this evening officially launch Parklight – Images of Killarney National Park by Norman McCloskey in the Malton Hotel, Killarney at 6pm.

Compiled by landscape photographer Norman McCloskey, Parklight is a collection of over 160 photographs depicting Killarney National Park and has been over three years in the making.

Speaking ahead of the event Minister Deenihan commented “Killarney National Park is a true gem in the crown of The Kingdom attracting over one million visitors annually. This new book really highlights the beauty and diversity of its 26,000 acres of woodland, lakes and rivers, bog and heath, as well as landscaped parkland and gardens.
