Deenihan launches Wexford poetry anthology ‘Dust Motes Dancing in the Sunbeams’

Monday 28th October, 2013, Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht will launch a new publication in the County Library at 2pm.

‘Dust Motes Dancing in the Sunbeams’ is an anthology of poetry by 15 Wexford writers.

The anthology is a collection of works by poets who live in or are from Co. Wexford. Some of the poets moved to Wexford, some left but retain close ties with the county, and some have always lived in there. Wexford Echo Newspaper Group editor Tom Mooney both contributed to and edited this anthology. This is the first anthology launch in the new Wexford County Library and it is being published with the co-operation of the Wexford County Council Arts Office.

Speaking ahead of the event Minister Deenihan said “Wexford is a county associated with some of Ireland's most well-known and best loved novelists and playwrights. This anthology shows us more of the county's literary skill, and I hope that each of these writers will enjoy great success with this book and with future publications.”
