Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment announces commencement of third language scheme
The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment today announced the commencement of its third language scheme for the period 2018 to 2021. The scheme, which comes into effect today, Monday, 28 May 2018, was prepared in accordance with Section 15 of the Official Languages Act, 2003.
The objective of the new scheme is to further enhance the provision of services through Irish to customers, building on all that has been achieved in the Department’s previous schemes.
