STATUS REPORT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF

REPORTS 6, 7 and 8

The Garda Síochána Inspectorate today published updates on the

implementation status of 67 recommendations contained in reports 6, 7 and

8. The Inspectorate reports referred to are "Resource Allocation",

"Responding to Child Sexual Abuse" and “Front-Line Supervision”. The

updates outline the progress on the implementation of the recommendations

made in these reports as at the 8 November, 2013.

Note for editors

The Status Implementation reports are provided twice a year by the Garda

Commissioner on foot of a request from the Garda Inspectorate for

information on the implementation progress of recommendations made in

previous reports. Updates are normally only requested on the more recent

reports but the Inspectorate does amend the tables to reflect updates

received on recommendations made in older reports.
