Seán Kyne T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for Gaeilge, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 12 March, that a grant of up to €8,750 has been approved for Coláiste Ghobnatan, Ballymakeery, Co. Cork, in order to assist the college in upgrading the football pitch’s drainage system.

The approval of this grant conforms with the commitments made in relation to the Community and Language Support Programme under Actions 2.13 , 2.21 and 2.22 of the Government’s Action Plan 2018-2022 for the Irish language which was launched in June 2018.
