Grant of €2,125 approved by the Minister of State for Coiste Forbartha Charraig Airt, Co. Donegal

Joe McHugh, Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced that he has approved a grant of €2,125 to Coiste Forbartha Charraig Airt to enable them to erect signpost information around the town.

Announcing the grant, the Minister of State stated that he was satisfied that he was able to assist the Committee to complete this proposal.

I understand the wonderful work and excellent effort of this active committee to erect Irish signs around the area. I'm sure the people of the area and tourists on the Wild Atlantic Way will benefit from the content of the grant.

The grant is being approved under the Gaeltacht action of ​​the 20 Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
