Four Commissioners have been nominated to serve on the Independent Reporting Commission (IRC), created under the Fresh Start Agreement, to monitor progress on tackling paramilitary activity in Northern Ireland. They are:

• Professor Monica McWilliams
• Mr. John McBurney
• Mr. Tim O’Connor
• Mr. Mitchell Reiss

The Commission will meet for the first time in January.
