MCENTEE CONGRATULATES BUSINESS LEADERS FROM 26 COMPANIES ON COMPLETING 2012 ENTERPRISE IRELAND LEADERSHIP 4 GROWTH PROGRAMME

- encourages food and beverage companies to participate in the 2013 programme -

Speaking today at the closing ceremony for the Enterprise Ireland 2012 Leadership 4 Growth Programme, Shane McEntee TD, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine congratulated business leaders from 26 food and related companies who graduated following an intensive programme aimed at taking their businesses to a new level.

The programme is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and delivered by IMD Business School and the IMI. Minister McEntee said “this strategic leadership programme aims to develop the leadership qualities and capability of Irish CEOs and their senior management teams to lead companies in a drive to achieve sustained growth in exciting but challenging times. I am pleased that my Department is supporting the programme. Developing strong and innovative food companies is a key component of economic recovery. Food Harvest 2020 sets out ambitious growth and export targets and Leadership 4 Growth supports Irish companies to develop strategies at a whole of business level to achieve this”.
