Minister Creighton to attend special conference on next EU budget in Brussels
Minister for European Affairs, Lucinda Creighton T.D., will be in Brussels tomorrow (Thursday) to attend a High-Level Conference on the European Union’s Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2014-20. The conference will address the budgetary issues facing the European Union over the coming years.
Minister Creighton will also attend a breakfast event hosted by the Centre for European Studies think tank on Thursday morning. She will use the opportunity to brief representatives of the European media on Ireland’s economic progress.
On Saturday the Minister will represent the Government at the General Affairs Council which will finalise preparations for the European Council between European Heads of Government on Sunday.
