Wednesday 19th June, 2013 The Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned an allocation of €52,500 to Eagraíocht na Scoileanna Gaeltachta. This grant is being allocated up until the 31 December 2013 in order to facilitate this organisations amalgamation with Gaelscoileanna.

Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said that this organisation is a first-rate organisation that provides guidance, assistance and support to primary schools and post-primaries in Gaeltacht areas. The Minister of State said “My department has provided assistance to this organisation throughout the years and I am delighted that they are examining new ways and more effective ways to deliver their service."
