Minister Quinn announces appointment to the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund
The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairí Quinn T.D., has appointed David Lane to fill a vacancy that has arisen on the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Board. The vacancy arose due to the resignation of Martin Power.
Mr. Lane is a former resident of a scheduled institution and lives in the United Kingdom. He has been appointed for the remainder of the Board’s four year term of office. This term commenced on 25th March 2013. Membership is not remunerated.
The Minister thanked Mr Power for his contribution to the initial work of the Board, and wished Mr Lane well in his appointment.
