The Minister of State for Mental Health, Jim Daly has launched the eMental Health: State of the Art report at an event in Dublin. Welcoming today's report launch he said,

‘As the Minister with responsibility for mental health, events like this gives me an opportunity to see new and innovative ways that technology can be utilised beneficially for those suffering from mental illness.’

Minister Daly also emphasised that Mental Health is a high priority area for this government and said,

‘We are living in a rapidly changing world and an age of information, where technology plays a significant role in our everyday lives. As reports like this emphasise, such technology also provides us with opportunities to deliver new and innovative mental health services effectively.’
