Minister Flanagan Condemns Terrorist atrocities in Turkey and Ivory Coast and Expresses Condolences to Victims

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Charlie Flanagan TD, has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Ankara, Turkey and Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast on 13 March and extended his condolences to the victims and their families.

Speaking today from Brussels, where he is attending a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council, Minister Flanagan said:

“I strongly condemn yesterday’s brutal terrorist attacks in Ankara, Turkey and Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast. On behalf of the Government of Ireland, I wish to extend my deepest condolences and those of the Irish people to the people of Turkey and Ivory Coast on the loss of life and injury and in particular to the families and friends of those killed and injured in these terror attacks.”
