Minister Sean Kyne announced the appointment of an SFI Research Professor and new iCRAG Director
Minister for Natural Resources, Sean Kyne TD has today announced the appointment of Murray Hitzman as SFI Research Professor and new iCRAG Director. Speaking in Canada, the Minister said
“I am delighted at the appointment of Professor Murray Hitzman as Director of iCRAG. Professor Hitzman is one of the world’s leading economic geologists with an exceptional track record of research and discovery of mineral deposits. His experience also includes the hydrocarbon sector. He will shape iCRAG’s research which will place Ireland at the forefront of research. This is an exciting development for iCRAG and demonstrates Ireland’s ability to attract leading international geoscientists.”
