Publication of certain material previously redacted from the Murphy Report
Minister for Justice, Equality & Defence Alan Shatter today published the
remaining material from the Report of The Commission of Investigation into
the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin (The Murphy Report) previously redacted
on foot of a direction from the High Court in accordance with the
provisions of section 38 of the Commissions of Investigation Act, 2004. The
Minister notes that the person who is the subject of these parts of the
report has since been convicted in respect of a number of offences.
The material in question has now been made available on the Department’s
website www.justice.ie
