The Commencement Order and Regulations for the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Act 2013 were signed yesterday, 19 December, with a commencement date of 1 January 2014. The HSE has been informed of the commencement date.
The regulations - which were published in draft format during the debates in the Houses of the Oireachtas - relate to the prescribed forms for the purposes of certification, notification and for applying for a review of a medical opinion.
