Tánaiste launches new Brexit website

Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade, Simon Coveney, T.D., has today unveiled the Government’s new dedicated Brexit website: dfa.ie/Brexit

On this site, you can find out about the Government’s work on Brexit, including recent engagements, outreach events, and ongoing consultations. You can also access key documents published by the Government outlining our negotiation strategy and our preparations for the potential domestic impacts of Brexit.

This site includes links to a wide range of Government and independent research reports that provide a broad analysis of many key issues and sectors.

Announcing the new website, the Tánaiste said:

“I am delighted to welcome you to the new Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Brexit website.

"This website provides a resource to learn about the work the Government is undertaking to protect Irish interests in the Brexit negotiations, and the work being undertaken to address the consequences of Brexit here in Ireland.

"I want to make sure everybody has all of the required information to inform themselves about Brexit and the steps the Government is taking to prepare for Brexit.

"I encourage everybody to explore the site and to make full use of the available information.”
