Varadkar congratulates Dublin minors on All-Ireland win

Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport Leo Varadkar has congratulated the Dublin minors on winning the All-Ireland football final for the first time since 1984.

"Well done to the Dublin team who played a great game of football. I’m delighted that Dublin is bringing home some silverware this year. However, both teams gave us a thrilling spectacle. There were some magic moments from Meath, and it was a very close game at times.

"Last year the Dublin minors were narrowly beaten in the All-Ireland final, but this year they really showed their mettle. Many members of this Dublin minor team look certain to be future champions at senior level. The future of Dublin football is looking very bright."
