€17,962 grant approved by Minister of State McHugh

Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today (Wednesday 11 April) that he has sanctioned a grant of up to €17,962 for Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Bhéal an Mhuirthid to help them erect nets to stop balls and a new fence around the playing fields.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State said that he was very pleased to provide this assistance to this active club. He said that the facilities would be used by locals of all ages including schoolchildren and local clubs.

This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
