€1,230 grant sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Coláiste na Rosann, Ananagary, Co. Donegal, to purchase chairs

Joe McHugh, Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, Thursday 28 June, that he has sanctioned a grant of €1,230 for Coláiste na Rosann, Annagary, Co. Donegal to enable them to purchase chairs.

Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to help Coláiste na Rosann in delivering this project.

The subject of the grant will benefit the pupils and young people attending the college. The Coláistí Gaeilge (Irish Colleges) industry is undoubtedly one of the most beneficial industries for the Irish language and the Gaeltacht.


This grant is being sanctioned under the area for action An Ghaeltacht of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
