€2,062 Grant sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for CLG An Spidéal, Co. Galway
Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 6 July, that he has sanctioned a grant of €2,062 for CLG An Spidéal, to enable them to erect new nets at the football pitch.
Announcing the grant, Minister of State said that he was very pleased to provide this assistance to this active club. He said that the facilities would be made available to the local community and that the standard of the facilities would be improved by this grant.
This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht area for action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
