€6,582 grant sanctioned by Minister of State McHugh for Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Waterford

Joe McHugh T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, announced today, 6 July, that he has sanctioned a grant of €6,582 for Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Waterford, to enable them make a new classroom using a partition.


Announcing the grant, Minister of State McHugh said that he was pleased to be in a position to help Coláiste na Rinne in delivering this project.

This new partition will give Coláiste na Rinne the opportunity to cater for more pupils while promoting the Irish language among learners, young and old, throughout the year.

This grant is being sanctioned under the Gaeltacht area for action of the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
