Fund designed to provide immediate support to Community and Voluntary Organisations, Charities and Social Enterprises

The Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan TD, today announced that, as part of the Government’s Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business, six of our National Cultural Institutions will be reopening either fully or partly to the public with effect from 29 June 2020, while the Irish Museum of Modern Art will reopen from 30 June.

Following its latest meeting this week, the Tourism Recovery Taskforce has submitted an initial report to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross, and Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin TD, which is aimed at helping tourism to survive in the initial reopening period as Ireland emerges from the COVID-19 lockdown period
