Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Dr James Reilly today (29 January
2016) welcomed the appointment of Fred McBride as the new Chief Executive
of Tusla. The Minister said:

I want to congratulate Fred on his well-deserved appointment. I have
worked with him since becoming Minister for Children and Youth
Affairs, and I know that he will bring excellent ability and huge
experience to the area of children and family services in his new
role.

The Minister also wished the outgoing Chief Executive Gordon Jeyes well in
his forthcoming retirement, and thanked him for his significant
contribution to the establishment and work of Tusla.
