Children Minister Frances Fitzgerald today launched the "What's Working for Young People" International Conference in Dublin. The conference sees  leading experts in adolescent behaviour and youth development gather for a two-day conference which will explore the most effective and innovative ways of working with young people, examining policy, practice and research in relation to prevention and early intervention.

It is the first international conference in Ireland focused on adolescent behaviour. The 2 day conference has been organised by a co-operative of organisations including lead partner Foroige, the National Youth Development Organisation, along with NUI Galway, The Atlantic Philanthropies, the National Youth Council of Ireland, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and the Centre for Effective Services and Archways.
