Review of the Public Service Obligation air service for the Aran Islands published
The Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley T.D., today announced the publication of the review of the Public Service Obligation air service for the Aran Islands. The necessity for the air service was reviewed as required under EU Regulation 1008/2008/EC. Following a tendering process, the consultants EY were appointed to conduct the review which covers the period from 2003 to 2013.
In welcoming the publication of the review, the Minister of State said: “I am pleased that this report has been presented to my Department. It is a comprehensive report which my Department intends to study in detail.”
