Council of State Convenes to Consider the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill
Taoiseach Enda Kenny attended a meeting of the Council of State convened by President Higgins to consider the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill.
It's the first time that President Higgins has convened the Council of State since he took office in November 2011.
There have been 28 meetings of the Council since 1940.
