The Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley T.D., has announced today (Wednesday 17th April, 2013) that he has sanctioned a grant of €16,110 for Comhar Chuigéil Teo. so that they can continue with the necessary preparatory work for renovations to the co-op’s sewage system. Part of the grant also provides for renovation works on the ceiling of the hall in the centre.

“When the particular importance of the activities of Comhar Chuigéil and the importance of the building as a community centre and as a centre for the Irish college are taken into account, it is very important to help the co-op to complete this necessary work,” said the Minister of State.
